New site, who dis?

So after a few domains and not knowing what I wanted to do with a personal site here is the gameplan:

1. I am a software engineer so this site will serve as a place for my commentary on topics I find interesting and generally relate to programming and software design. 
2. I do not consider myself a great writer so it is also a way for me to practice. 
3. Because this is just for fun and to maintain motivation, I will often write about my hobbies including games and game development.
4. I am going to start by setting a minimum goal of writing a post monthly with the stretch goal of writing weekly. 
5. Additionally, it may become home for any other hobby projects I pick up so fair warning.
